My World of Work 2020 are calling all Warwickshire
"Colleges"

to help young people build their future careers...

Every provider taking part in the programme will have the opportunity to host year 10 pupils from local schools during My World of Work 2020 apprenticeship events (February and March 2020).

Working with employers and apprenticeship providers we will support providers in the creation of onsite tours and activities with apprenticeship talks – all designed to enhance the level of engagement.

Every provider may choose up to 3 sectors to represent and will create activity to complement their existing timetable of activity. The campaign is designed for everyone involved to shape their offer to meet their individual objectives.

Each young person attending apprenticeship events will have researched the employers attending, the roles they have to offer and written key questions to ask employers.

This pre-event activity is designed to support young people in building confidence when talking to employers but also to help measure that “meaningful conversation”.

There will be further opportunities for apprenticeship providers to support apprenticeship talks. In June (15th- 26th) employers will host events during “My World of Work Week” There will be planned site tours and activities whilst also linking careers talks where employers would value your support.

Our dedicated My World of Work 2020 events team will support you in creating an interactive event.

We are looking for Colleges to join “My World of Work 2020”. We have a team on hand to help you explore My World of Work 2020.
